It was an historic day in Egypt. Hosni Mubarak, the man who ruled the country for three decades, has been sentenced to life in prison. The ruling came after the 84-year-old former president was found guilty of complicity in the killing of nearly 900 peaceful protesters during the 2011 uprising. After the verdict there was outrage across te country, in particular over the acquittal of six police chiefs. In the capital, once again people gathered at the very symbol of the Egyptian uprising - Cairo's Tahrir Square.
