The main opposition coalition in Egypt has rejected the constitutional referendum set by President Mohammed Morsi. They are also calling for mass protests on Tuesday to demand Morsi cancel the referendum which is due to take place next week. In a surprise move, late on Saturday Morsi scrapped a controversial decree that gave him sweeping powers. But his opponents say this didn't go far enough. The escalating protests have prompted authorities in Cairo to ramp up security.
