UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has arrived in Pakistan to visit the country' flood regions. Ahead of talks with Pakistani leaders he said the whole world stood behind Pakistan and pledged to mobilise assistance. The UN has appealed for 360 million Euros, but donors have so far only pledged around 20 per cent of that sum. Experts now warn that unless aid can be speeded up, there will be a second wave of deaths from water borne diseases.
