In August of 1992 the worst mob attack in the history of postwar Germany took place in Rostock's Lichtenhagen district. Neonazis attacked an apartment building inhabited by asylum seekers, throwing stones and Molotov cocktails. Police and many local residents simply stood by and watched. Twenty years have passed. What is life like today in Rostock-Lichtenhagen?
