A plunging population and a decrease in skilled employees means Germany has to make some changes. According to the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, Germany will likely require up to 6 Mmillion employable individuals in the next 20 years. The main reason is too few children are being born in Germany. In Berlin, political and economic players have come together to discuss how to deal with this professional shortage.
