For the time being, prosthetics are highly-functional standard models but aesthetically imperfect. At Californian company "3D Systems," researchers are confident they can develop the technology to create custom prosthetic limbs with the help of 3D printers, iPad-scans and Cloud blueprints. But many scientists are skeptical.
