In a radical about-face - the United States says it now believes that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program four years ago. National Security Advisor Steven Hadley says Iran appears "less determined" to develop nuclear weapons than previously thought. Hadley also said the international community should nonetheless "turn up the pressure on Iran" using diplomatic isolation, UN sanctions and financial leverage.
