If handball is your sport, then you might want to check the movie listings for a new film called "Machan." It tells the true story of a group of Sri Lankans so desperate to emigrate to Europe that they pretend to be professional handball players. It's the directoral debut of Uberto Pasolini, who produced the Full Monty. "Machan" has already won a host of awards at European film festivals and starts its run in German theaters today. +++SYN-MAZ+++
