A prisoner freed after four years in US detention says he was tortured

A British resident detained at Guantanamo Bay for more than four years is today spending his first full day in freedom after returning to Britain on Monday. Ethiopian-born Binyam Mohammed alleges that he was tortured in "medieval ways" by American and other agents. The thirty-year-old was the first detainee to be released after President Obama ordered the closure of the Guantanamo camp just two days after coming into office. +++ SYN-MAZ +++
