Allegations of abuse made by several German gymnasts were "credible," the chair of the sports committee of the German Bundestag, Dagmar Freitag, told DW. With investigations still ongoing, Freitag said it was too early to reach any conclusions, but it was "not acceptable to have that kind of pressure on very young athletes."
