"As a result, no further anti-trust regulatory review will be necessary in the United States," the statement said. In August, Adidas-Salomon and Reebok agreed a 3.1-billion-euro ($3.8 billion) takeover of the US firm by the German group. The two sides expect the transaction to be completed in the first half of next year, they said.
