This episode of Afrimaxx is diving into the engine room of innovation as we are meeting how people did work their way up - from Mali to Zambia.

Zambia's beauty goes beyond landscapes. Today, we delve into it's engine room of innovation, Lusaka's top tech hub, and ask Maumo Mubila-Kakoma what could change the life of a young woman in Zambia today.

Meet Queen Achalla, whose journey is a prime example of reinvention. Her homemade furniture made from old car tires serves to protect our planet in a sustainable way.

South African designer Dennis Chuene speaks openly about his depression - a courageous step in the highly competitive world of fashion.

Innovation should solve real problems and help people develop. Emmanuel Ampadu saw Ghanaian farmers losing food and income, so he developed a solution using dried fruit.

Finally, in Mali, music was once silenced by extremists, but some refused to stop. Now they are rebuilding, keeping traditional sounds alive and helping the next generation grow through rhythm.
