After last year´s state-funded car scrapping schemes, 2010 is providing a dreary outlook for Europe's car manufacturers. Analysts expect sales this year to decline by almost a Mmillion vehicles compared to 2009. German carmakers are now pinning their hopes on foreign markets, such as China, the US and Russia, where sales are recovering.
