Many people enjoy the comfort of air conditioning in hot weather, but cranking up the cold can pose a risk to your health. For one, cold air is low in humidity, which dries out your mucus membranes and makes them more susceptible to viruses and bacterial. Also, a sudden and large change temperature can affect the cardiovascular and respiratory system.
