All-terrain version of the VW Golf

In 2012, Volkswagen made an all-terrain version of the Passat and called it the "Alltrack". Now VW has carried its on and off-road concept over to its Golf line to roll out the Golf Alltrack.

The technological and optical features of the Golf Alltrack include the standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive, 20 mm greater clearance, flared wheel arches and side skirts to protect the body, and redesigned bumpers. That gives the Golf Alltrack capabilities in rugged terrain that would normally only be found in an SUV.
