The largest exhibition of protest art by Russian artists is now on show in Amsterdam. "Artists Against the Kremlin" raises a voice against the Russian government's propaganda and repression, which is no longer tolerated in the artists' home country.

In Amsterdam's De Balie, the anti-Kremlin exhibition "Artists Against the Kremlin" is showcasing protest art by Russian dissidents.

Themed "virus," it critiques the authoritarianism of Russian President Vladimir Putin, repression and propaganda. Artist Paulina Siniatkina calls it a "loop of corruption," while curator Vladimir Shalamov warns of Kremlin-style repression spreading globally.

Works include pieces smuggled from Russia and Ukraine, highlighting the risks artists face under surveillance, exile and war.
