Sparked by the disputed presidential election on June 12th, the protests have gathered momentum and galvanised poltical dissent. The response of the hardliners within the regime has been predictable - a crackdown on anyone perceived to be an opponent. The crackdown and many of these protests have been filmed by those on the streets.
