And a new report says China executed more people last year than the rest of the world put together

The human rights group Amnesty International says that Europe had its first year without executions in 2009. But in it's annual report - the London-based organization says that won't be repeated in 2010 after the execution of two men in Belarus. Many former Soviet satellites banned capital punishment in the 1980s and '90s. The new Amnesty study is especially critical of China - which executes thousands of people annually - more than all other countries combined.
