Officials say Ukraine agreed to allow EU observers to monitor gas pipelines on its territory. But Russian giant Gazprom is insisting that RUSSIAN monitors take on the job - a demand Kiev has refused. Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller was in Brussels today, where he met with EU commission president Jose Manuel Barroso. He was joined by his Ukrainian counterpart.
