Anti-nuclear group wins 2024 Nobel Peace Prize

The Japanese anti-nuclear group Nihon Hidankyo has won this year's Nobel Peace Prize. The group represents the survivors of the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Norwegian Nobel Committee said it was honoring the group's efforts to achieve a nuclear-free world.
