Sviatoshyn is a district of Kiev which boasts 360,000 residents and a huge industrial complex. The legendary aircraft manufacturer Antonov has its manufacturing facilities here, and a 14,000-strong workforce. The company is the maker of the An-225, the world's largest cargo aircraft. In addition, Antonov also makes passenger planes that are purchased primarily by Russian airlines.
