Italy's "sweet life," on the line. As the third-largest economy in the euro zone, Italy is trying to get its finances in order with an austerity package. In 1974, German distribution company Berner opened a branch in the Italian city of Verona. The firm ships automobile parts to customers around Italy.

MADE IN GERMANY reporter Carmen Meyer asks the company how the economic situation is affecting business. She also finds out about the industry's current worries, and what Italians think about the 1.8 trillion-euro national deficit.
