As Zimbabwe faces famine, some turn to baobab to survive

Almost 60% of rural people in Zimbabwe will be living with severe hunger between January and March 2025, the UN has said. In April, the government declared a state of emergency, and then the harvest failed. Some people have begun collecting baobab fruit, as a source of both food and income.
