Asia Gains Importance as G20 Replaces G8

25/09/09September 25, 2009

The Group of 20 summit in Pittsburgh has approved a greater role for Asian countries. Whereas the G8 had only one Asian member, Japan, the G20 also includes China, India, Indonesia and South Korea.
