At Germany's Düsseldorf airport some flights are operated again bringing back relieved passengers

European airspace has opened to flights in several countries - with governments saying they are going to progressively open their airports during the course of the day. Flights will be allowed in zones with a lower concentration of ash. But the danger from the volcanic cloud from Iceland is far from over. Reports coming in say more lava and ash is spewing out of the volcano and moving towards south and east towards Britian. The unprecedented closure of European airspace for days has caused complete travel chaos. Finally, some flights are operating again.. bringing back relieved passengers as we hear from Germany's Düsseldorf airport.
