Australians commemorate Bondi Beach terror attack

Exactly a week after a devastating terror attack on a Jewish festival left 15 people dead, more than 10,000 gathered at Sydney's Bondi Beach for a memorial, pledging unity and resilience against antisemitism and hate.

Sunday has been declared a national Day of Reflection as Australians remember the country's worst terror attack in living memory.

Meanwhile the Australian government has pledged to further tighten gun control laws and crack down on hate speech.
