The Leipzig-based architecture office CARO has been chosen as one of the winners of this year's acclaimed Brit Insurance Design Awards. Stefan Rettich and Bert Hafermalz picked up the prize for their blueprints of the new open air library in the German city of Magdeburg. One of the keys to their success is including the local community in the planning stages.
