Bad Muskau - The Landscaped Park of Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau

In 1815, Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau created an English garden in and around Bad Muskau. The work of landscape architecture was so outstanding it caused furor across Europe. In 1945, the park was split in two by the German-Polish border. Since the collapse of Communism, Germans and Poles have spent two decades working to return the garden to its original form.
