Ballet Revolución - Dance theater from Cuba

Wild, powerful, light, and leaping -- and classical at the same time. That's "Ballet Revolución" from Cuba, the newest export from the island of sugar cane and cigars.

The weak country is still strong in dance training, and it wants to show that to the world. The ballet is a tightrope act between freedom and regimentation, as well as among Afro-Cuban rhythms, hip-hop, international pop, and classical ballet. And the highest Cuban powers have authorized it to use the word Revolution in its name.
