To US politics now, and after a tough primary battle with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, Barack Obama firmly set his sights on his Republican opponent John McCain on Monday. In his first speech since Clinton's exit last Saturday, Obama slammed McCain's economic policies. He labelled them "outrageous" and an extention of the administration of George W Bush, and he promised tax relief for middle America. +++OTON-REIN+++
