Barack Obama says the US will meet its responsibilities on climate change on the final day of the UN climate conference

US President Barack Obama has just finished addressing the UN Climate summit in Copehagen. He told +++LM REIN world leaders they must accept a climate change deal - even if it is imperfect, or risk opening dangerous splits in the fight against global warming. He said the time to act was NOW.. and the world must come together on the fundamental issue of climate change before the damage caused was irrerversible. +++LM RAUS+++ Earlier Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said his country was committed to meeting and "even exceeding" a goal to rein in the growth of its greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.
