Berlinale a festival of films: Films and Stars at the Berlinale

You might say this year's Berlin Film Festival is a tribute to the importance of being earnest. The films being screened here over the next ten days include a thriller about a really bad bank, movies about the conflicts in Iraq and the Middle East, and a series of pictures looking at the fall of communism. But serious content is not really a departure for the Berlinale, which is often the most political of the world's movie festivals. And as always, there will be much light amidst the darkness, as the flashbulbs pop for a slew of stars.
