Beware of Tick Bites

Ticks are blood-suckers and can transmit dangerous diseases like Lyme disease or Tick-borne encephalitis. Tick-borne encephalitis is less frequent but potentially fatal. When out walking through meadows and forests it's best to wear long pants and socks - and conduct a thorough check for ticks when you return home.
