Anton Lohmeier is a dairy farmer in the southern German town of Sankt Wolfgang. The 23-year-old took over the farm from his parents, but he soon learned that he couldn't live off dairy farming alone. So he decided to start a biogas plant. That gave the farm indepndence and it now even sells its surplus electricity.
