Cracks are beginning to show in The East African Community following a spat between Kenya and Tanzania. President John Magufuli is keen to implement a 2007 livestock ban going against the ideal of free movement within the region. Tanzania, a more socialist state, has always felt left out. But this struggle for regional power is being felt in the daily lives of East Africans.
