Indicted war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic spent eleven years on the run, but now he is to be brought to justice before the United Nations tribunal in the Hague. The former Bosnian Serb leader is accused of war crimes in connection with the seige of Sarajevo as well as involvement in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre in which 8,000 Muslims were killed. Families of the victims are relieved that Karadzic is now in custody. His expected trial is seen as a chance to help heal the scars of war in Bosnia.
