Brazil returns to growth

Brazil's faltering economy ended 2013 on an upbeat note - growing by 2.3 percent. That's largely thanks to strong consumer spending and investment. Gross domestic product expanded 0.7 percent in the fourth quarter - more than doubling beating analysts' expectations. The upturn provides a much needed boost to President Dilma Rousseff who wants to win re-election in October.
