Britian is voting in an election - with most polls predicting a hung parliament

Voters in Britain are casting ballots in a tightly contested parliamentary election. Some 44 million people eligible to vote. Surveys suggest Prime Minister Gordon Brown's Labour party trailing the Conservatives led by David Cameron. Support has also surged for Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats - making this a three way contest. No party is expected to get an absolute majority.
