British Airways agrees merger with Iberia

Now to the skies--where the recession is forcing enemies to become allies. British Airways and the Spanish carrier Iberia have signed a letter of intent to merge. The marriage would create a European airline giant rivaling Air France- KLM and Lufthansa. The company would have nearly 420 aircraft and fly to 205 destinations.
