Bulgarian protests turn violent

In Bulgaria's capital Sofia, ongoing demostrations against the government turned violent overnight. Protestors angry with poverty and corruption blockaded parliament, leaving ministers and journalists trapped inside for hours. They were able to vacate the building only after riot police moved in to disperse the crowds. Political unrest has been growing for over a month.
