The German parliament is voting today on expanding the Eurozone Stability Fund. All 17 Eurozone countries have to approve the changes agreed on by leaders in July. Ten countries already have - but all eyes are now on Germany - as Europe's largest economy, its role is pivotal. +++ LIVE FEED REIN +++ Lawmakers have already started their debate in the Bundestag. There is a lot at stake for German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The measures which aim to increase the powers and size of the Eurozone Stability Fund - are expected to be approved. +++ RAUS +++ But the big question is whether Merkel will get a majority with her own coalition. If she does not get her own majority it would damage Merkel's credibility - and opposition leaders say she should step down.
