Can 'green' firecrackers cut Dehli's Diwali pollution?

Diwali is the year's biggest festival for millions of Hindus around the world, and celebrations wouldn't be complete without firecrackers. But in India's capital, Delhi, every burst of fireworks makes the air even more toxic. And the city is already among the most polluted in the world.

Every year, Diwali celebrations in India fill the skies with fireworks — and the air with pollution.

But this year, the Indian Supreme Court has allowed only "green" firecrackers in a bid to curb pollution.
