Allison Minor is director of the Project for Middle East Integration at the Atlantic Council. She served as deputy US special envoy for Yemen and was a member of the White House National Security Council during Donald Trump’s first term in office.  In a new article she co-authored for “Foreign Policy,” she argues that President Trump must learn the diplomatic art of “losing well”:
