The longevity trend is prompting wealthy British people to spend large sums of money on expensive treatments. But can the biological clock really be slowed in a meaningful way?

Exclusive longevity treatments promise healthier aging, but their benefits remain debated.

In London, 71‑year‑old businessman Simon Ingram regularly visits a high-end health clinic, relying on experimental NAD+ infusions and extreme cold therapy to boost energy and improve biological markers. Doctors focus on extending quality of life rather than lifespan.

Scientists, however, warn evidence for human rejuvenation is lacking and some methods may even be harmful. Experts agree proven basics like sleep, diet and exercise remain central to healthy aging.
