Cardinals gather in Rome to elect new pope

The eyes of the world will be fixed on the Vatican this Wednesday, as Catholic cardinals from around the world meet in the Sistine Chapel to elect a new pope. The 133 cardinals, the so-called "Princes of the Church," have now all arrived in Rome.
