Chancellor Angela Merkel's cabinet has approved an ambitious plan aimed at cutting Germany's greenhouse gas emissions. The program is designed to encourage businesses to conserve energy and to expand the use of renewable energy sources. The government in Berlin wants to set an example for other countries at the international climate conference currently underway in Bali. +++SYN-MAZ+++
