Charlie Beckett: Assange Arrest a ‘terrible message’ to the world

After seven years of solitude in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, British police officers have dragged Julian Assange outside. He faces almost certain extradition to the United States. Brent Goff spoke to Charlie Beckett, the author of “WikiLeaks: News in the Networked Era.” He says journalists should be free to break the rules, and even the law, if it is in the public interest.
