Boxing and chess, a martial art and a board game - normally they don't belong together. But in 2003 a Dutch performance artist came up with chessboxing. The contestants compete in alternating rounds of chess and boxing. Berlin's Sven Rooch is the reigning world champion and out to defend his title.
