June 18, 2015

Kick off! met the 36-year-old in Munich, where he’s had two stints: 2001 – 2007 and now since 2012. He boasts the most appearances and most goals of any non-German player in the Bundesliga. He’s scored 176 goals in 383 matches, all for Bayern and Bremen. Kick off! talked to Pizarro about family meetings, why he doesn’t want to go into coaching, and his affinity to Munich. Before he decides whether to stay at Bayern, however, he’ll be captaining Peru at the Copa América in Chile.
