A homegrown product and boyhood Dortmund fan, Kevin Großkreutz seemed a bit ungainly when he first took to the pitch for the professional team two years ago. In the meantime, he’s become a symbol of what’s made Dortmund so successful and has earned a spot in the German national team. Yet he himself says he’s sometimes not sure whether he’s dreaming.
